Driver caught speeding at 214 km/h in a Tesla

Action has been taken against a driver who was recorded driving a Tesla at high speeds, reaching 214 km/h on the streets of Tashkent. This was reported by officials from the Information Multimedia Center of the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs.

Earlier, a video circulating on social media sparked widespread discussion. The footage showed the driver moving at an extremely high speed within the city, which many assessed as a serious threat to the lives of other road users.

Following this, the Tesla driver was identified by officers from the capital's Traffic Safety Department search unit and summoned for questioning.

The driver himself expressed regret for his actions. According to him, he was summoned to the relevant authority after the video showing him speeding went viral on the internet.

"I do not recommend anyone to drive at such speeds. One must be careful and follow the rules. I regret what I did," the driver said.

It is reported that legal measures have been taken against him, although the specific penalty imposed was not disclosed.
