Bloomberg Agency has published its «Billionaires Index», revealing that since the beginning of 2025, the wealth of Russia's richest entrepreneurs has increased by 18.1 billion US dollars. The ranking takes into account the value of company shares.
The largest growth in capital among Russian billionaires was observed in Alisher Usmanov. His wealth grew by 5.32 billion US dollars since the start of the year, reaching 18.5 billion US dollars. As a result of this growth, Usmanov climbed to the 6th position in the rankings of Russia's wealthiest individuals.
In addition to Alisher Usmanov, other prominent Russian entrepreneurs such as Iskandar Makhmudov (UGMK), Pavel Durov (Telegram), and Tatyana Kim (Wildberries) also significantly increased their wealth in 2025.
However, Vladimir Lisin, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Novolipetsk Steel Plant (NLMK), experienced major losses this year. His wealth decreased by 3.07 billion US dollars, totaling 22.8 billion US dollars. Nevertheless, he managed to retain his position in the top three of Russia's billionaire rankings.
