Car buying and selling slows down in Uzbekistan
In March 2025, vehicle sales in Uzbekistan fell by 3%, totaling 76,800 units, reported nova24.uz citing the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CEIR).

Sales of passenger cars dropped by 3.4% to around 65,000 units.

The primary market declined by 6% compared to the previous month, reaching 22,400 cars. However, annual growth stood at 3%.

The segment of foreign cars grew by 28% for the month, hitting 2,700 units, with a yearly growth of 13%.

The secondary market saw a 2% decline, recording 42,500 sales.

Used electric vehicles showed strong growth, rising 10% in March to 1,800 units — tripling compared to the same period last year.
