More than a thousand new buses and electric buses will be brought to Tashkent

According to the Ministry of Transport, a total of 1,200 new buses and electric buses will be delivered to the capital by the end of 2026.

In October of this year, \"Toshshahartranskhizmat\" will receive 200 12-meter electric buses. Four new bus routes will be opened on their basis.

In 2026, it is planned to bring another thousand buses. Of these, 30 will be 18-meter, 500 will be 12-meter, and 470 will be 9-meter. The new vehicles will operate on 48 routes.

Three bus depots for the new buses will be built in the territory of New Tashkent. If the project is implemented, a total of 2,891 buses will operate in the city, transporting 750 million passengers annually.

In addition, 15 night bus routes will be launched on tourist streets from 22:00 to 06:00.

Recall that in 2023, Uzbekistan purchased 1000 buses and electric buses from Yutong and King Long.
