Turkish President ceremonially welcomed with Dombra melody (video)

Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during an official visit ceremony with the sounds of the unique and traditional national melody — the famous "Dombra" piece, characteristic of the Nogai people.

The ceremony was held in Astana and was significant for further strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between the two nations. The dombra melody performed in honor of the guest left a great impression on those present.

It is noted that the tradition of welcoming guests with such national music serves to express the historical and cultural closeness between Turkic peoples. Nogai melodies, in particular, have long held an important place in the culture of fraternal nations.
