Great white shark attacks 38-year-old man in Australia

Another tragic incident has occurred in Western Australia. On May 16, a 38-year-old man died following a great white shark attack in a popular recreation and diving area near Perth.

City police reported this to the country's ABC News channel.

According to official reports, the incident took place around 10:00 local time near Rottnest Island. This area is known for its popularity among tourists and fishermen, and it was here that the shark attacked the man.

The victim was immediately transported by boat to a nearby area near the Geordie Bay jetty. There, doctors and law enforcement officers provided first aid. However, due to the severe injuries sustained, it was impossible to save the man.

Experts noted that the predator was nearly 4 meters long and identified as a great white shark. This species is considered one of the most dangerous marine predators in the world.
