How much cashback was paid to consumers in 2024?

In 2024, consumers received more than 1 trillion soums in cashback for 1 billion purchase receipts. This was reported by the Tax Committee.

Leading regions in terms of paid cashback:
- Tashkent city - 412.2 billion soums;
- Tashkent region - 107.1 billion soums;
- Samarkand region - 93.2 billion soums;
- Fergana region - 75.6 billion soums;
- Andijan region - 52 billion soums.

For your information, cashback for checks issued for purchases made at retail, public catering, and household services was introduced in 2022.

From January 2024, a limit has been set for the 1 percent cashback amount returned to the population - 60 times the MRP.
