5-gram gold bar price surpasses 6.6 million soums for the first time

In Uzbekistan, the price of a 5-gram gold bar has exceeded 6,671,000 soums for the first time, uz24.uz reported. A 1-gram bar is now being offered at 1,334,270 soums.

This price surge is linked to global market dynamics. For the first time, gold prices neared $3150 per troy ounce.

Analysts attribute the trend to rising demand and inflation concerns.
