Tashkent Metro transported 70 million passengers in Q1

In the first quarter of 2025, the Tashkent Metro transported 70.2 million passengers, uz.kursiv.media reported, citing Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee.

This figure is 7.2 million more than in the same period of 2024.

On average, 780,000 people used the metro daily in Q1, marking a 12.6% increase compared to the previous year.
