Ahad Qayum: “My poems gave life to hit songs from Sherali Jo’rayev to Ulugbek Rahmatullayev”

In one of his interviews, Uzbek poet and actor Ahad Qayum announced that his poems have been performed by famous singers and have become hits.

He said: “Let me briefly list the songs created from my work: Sherali Jo’rayev sang the song ‘When the first love is bad, it burns the soul in secret’, Ozodbek Nazarbekov sang ‘Who missed my laughter, who missed my withering’, Shohjahon Jo’rayev sang ‘May your love be beautiful, may your eyes be filled with light’, Farhod Saidov sang ‘Is this a angel coming, or is this a sign of love’, and Ulugbek Rahmatullayev sang ‘Forgive me, I made a mistake, forgive me’.”

According to Ahad Qayyum, these artists enriched their creative repertoire by singing his poems, and these songs were received as favorite hits by the audience.
