Nodirbek Yakubboyev wins international chess tournament

Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Yakubboyev claimed victory at the Prague International Chess Festival, held in Prague.
Competing in the “Challengers” group, he finished the tournament without a single loss, scoring 7 points over 9 rounds. In the final match, he defeated Danish chess player Jonas Bjerre.
Additionally, this achievement secured him a spot in the “Masters” group for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
