English League Cup. Newcastle beat Liverpool in the final

The FA Cup final between Liverpool and Newcastle ended 2-1 in favor of the Ravens.

Goals from Dan Byrne and Alexander Isak gave Newcastle the trophy in the match at Wembley. Liverpool responded with a goal from Federico Chiesa in the 90+4 minute.

Newcastle won the trophy last March, defeating Manchester City in the 1955 FA Cup final.
