Transfer talks between Toronto and Shomurodov collapsed

Uzbekistan national team striker Eldor Shomurodov was considered a transfer target by Canadian club Toronto FC, reports Upl.uz.

According to sources, Toronto explored the option but negotiations ended before they fully started. The club was unable to reach an agreement with the player and his representatives.

Shomurodov has decided to stay in Europe and prove himself at the highest level.

Earlier reports suggested that Roma would extend his contract, although with a reduced salary.
