7 of our boxers will enter the ring for victory at the Asian Championship

The Asian Boxing Championship for youth and U-22 athletes is underway in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 30 to August 12, 2025. Today, seven young Uzbek female boxers will step into the ring to secure a place in the semi-finals.

According to the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, the match-ups are as follows:

• 48 kg: Maftuna Musurmonova vs. Suman Kumari (India)

• 51 kg: Mukhtasar Alieva vs. Yakshika (India)

• 57 kg: Robiya Ravshanova vs. Muskan (India)

• 60 kg: Sevara Mamatova vs. Mizuki Horita (Japan)

• 65 kg: Sevinch Khurramova vs. Arinda Akimoto (Japan)

• 70 kg: Rayhona Qurbanboeva vs. Chun-Ai Kao (Chinese Taipei)

• 75 kg: Maftuna Yangieva vs. Mina Jung (South Korea)

These bouts are crucial not only for medals but also for gaining valuable international experience.
