Bayern overpower Chelsea with Kane double in Munich

In their UEFA Champions League opener, Bayern Munich secured a 3–1 victory over Chelsea at the Allianz Arena.

The goals for Bayern came from a Trevoh Chalobah own goal (20\') and a brace by Harry Kane (27’ penalty, 63’). Chelsea’s only goal was scored by Cole Palmer in the 29th minute.

Bayern dominated with 56% possession and 16 total shots, while Chelsea managed 9 shots and earned one yellow card. The win gives Bayern 3 points to begin their group campaign.
