"Angers," "Nice," and "Gavr" won

Several matches of the ninth round of Ligue 1 have concluded. Ange defeated Lorient 2-0 in a clash between outsiders.

Peter Prosper and Sidiki Sheriff scored for the team. The visitors failed to convert the penalty they were awarded.

Nice also claimed a 2-1 away win over Rennes. Late first-half goals by Sofiane Diop and Jonathan Clauss brought victory to the team.

For the hosts, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal pulled one back, but a goal scored by Mohamed Mete in the 90th minute was disallowed for offside. Le Havre also claimed a 1-0 away win over Auxerre.

The only goal was scored in the 47th minute by Abdoulaye Touré.
