Six leading teams are close in the French championship

The rivalry between the teams that have left the top part of the French championship has reached its highest point in the last 13 years. This was reported by the statistical portal Opta.

Currently, "PSG" is leading the tournament table with 21 points. After 10 rounds, the teams "Monaco", "Marseille", "Strasbourg", "Lyon", and "Lens" are just 2 points behind "PSG".

A similar situation was observed 14 years ago. At that time, after 15 rounds, "Lyon" and "Marseille" were the leaders of the championship.

"Lille", however, was in 8th place, 5 points away from the leaders and 5 points away from the relegation zone. As a result, "Lille" finished the season as champions.
