The Spanish team "Barcelona" is leading in successfully applying the offside strategy. This was reported by a study based on data from the statistical portal Opta.

This research includes data tracked since the 2017-18 season. In the previous season, the team led by Hans-Dieter Flick was caught offside an average of 4.76 times per game, while this season the figure has increased to 4.91.

In third place is the English team "Aston Villa" with 4.39 (2023-24 season). Additionally, the top 10 includes Spain's "Las Palmas," "Eibar" (twice), "Athletic Bilbao," "Almeria," France's "Toulouse," and the Italian club "Sampdoria."
