Leroy Sane Returns to the Germany National Team

Galatasaray winger Leroy Sane helped the Germany national team secure a 2-0 victory over Luxembourg. The 29-year-old player assisted Niclas Füllkrug's opening goal in the 49th minute.

This match marked Sane’s first appearance for the national team since June. "I’m happy to be back on the field.

Representing my country is always a tremendous honor. I’m pleased to have assisted on the goal and justified the coach’s trust.

My goal is to play in the World Cup. We’ll see how it goes," said the former Bayern Munich player.

Leroy Sane joined Galatasaray as a free agent in July after leaving the Munich-based club.
