Tottenham plans to buy Kubo for €60 million

England's Tottenham club has expressed interest in acquiring the Japanese attacking midfielder Takefusa Kubo from Spain's Real Sociedad. According to Football Insider, Tottenham might attempt to transfer the Japanese player as early as January.

The Basque club has stated that they are ready to sell the 24-year-old player for €60 million. Earlier, it was reported that 50% of Kubo's next transfer fee would go to his former club, Real Madrid.

Transfermarkt has valued the player at €30 million, and his contract with Real Sociedad is valid until mid-2029. This season in La Liga, Takefusa Kubo has appeared in 10 matches and managed to score one goal.
