Emiliano Martinez could join Tottenham

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has become a transfer target for Tottenham. The Spurs management is planning to sign a new goalkeeper during the winter transfer window and is considering the Argentine star as a priority option.

According to Mail Sport, the London club believes that their current first-choice goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, is not sufficiently strong in certain areas. Last summer, Emiliano Martinez was linked with a potential move to Manchester United, but the Red Devils opted for Senne Lammens instead.

As per Transfermarkt, the 33-year-old World Cup winner's transfer value is estimated at 16 million euros.
