Gudiev Talks About His Meeting with Safonov

Vitaliy Gudiev, the goalkeeper for Tolyatti's "Akron" football team, shared his experience of meeting Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) goalkeeper Matvey Safonov while part of the Russian national team. "It was interesting to meet Matvey and train together.

We had a bit of a conversation, and I asked him about training sessions at PSG. Matvey is a very down-to-earth and sincere guy; we had a good exchange," Gudiev told "Match TV" in an interview.

In November, the Russian national team participated in two BetBoom friendly matches. Under the leadership of Valery Karpin, the team recorded a 1-1 draw against Peru and suffered a 0-2 defeat to Chile.

Gudiev did not appear on the field in these matches.
