On Sunday evening, Arsenal defeated Tottenham 4-1 and moved six points ahead of second-placed Chelsea in the Premier League standings. In the North London derby, Eberechi Eze registered a hat-trick, while the fourth goal was scored by Leandro Trossard.

For Tottenham, Richarlison managed to score their lone goal. Notably, this was the first time in seven years that Arsenal managed to score four goals against Tottenham.

This achievement was previously recorded on December 2, 2018. At that time, Arsenal defeated Spurs 4-2 on home turf.

In that match, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, and Lucas Torreira scored for Arsenal, while Eric Dier and Harry Kane found the net for Tottenham.
