Raphinha Regrets: Blames Himself for Injury Recurrence

Barcelona winger Raphinha was sidelined for nearly two months due to an injury but returned to action over the weekend. The Brazilian footballer took responsibility for the recurrence of his injury.

"The first recurrence was partly my fault. I also take responsibility for the second one.

I wanted to return sooner, and that was a mistake – as a result, the injuries kept reoccurring. I make the final decision myself.

I should have been the first to say 'no,' but I made several mistakes, causing the injury to recur twice. I was so eager to get back on the field to help the team," Raphinha told journalists.
