2026 World Cup: Pots Confirmed
FIFA has confirmed the seeding pots for the draw of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The teams qualified for the tournament have been divided into four pots, with each pot containing 12 teams.

However, six teams in the fourth pot have yet to be determined, as the UEFA zone playoff matches and intercontinental playoffs are set to take place in March. Pot 1 includes: Canada, Mexico, the United States, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Pot 2 includes: Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, and Australia. Pot 3 includes: Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Côte d'Ivoire, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa.

Pot 4 includes: Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curaçao, Haiti, New Zealand, UEFA Playoff A Winner, UEFA Playoff B Winner, UEFA Playoff C Winner, UEFA Playoff D Winner, Intercontinental Playoff Winner 1, and Intercontinental Playoff Winner 2. The 2026 FIFA World Cup draw ceremony will take place on December 5 in Washington, D.C.
