Rooney Praises Cucurella

English football legend Wayne Rooney recognized Spanish defender Marc Cucurella as one of the key contributors to this success. "Cucurella played an outstanding game.

I think this was one of the best performances by a left-back. He truly proved himself as a serious defender," Rooney was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

It is worth noting that Marc Cucurella has been playing for London's Chelsea since 2022. Prior to this, he played in Spain and spent one season with Brighton.
