The head coach of Liverpool, Arne Slot, shared his thoughts on the importance of the Champions League group stage match against the Dutch team PSV in the fifth round. Recently, the Merseyside club suffered a 0–3 defeat to Nottingham Forest at home in the English Premier League.

"Every competition we participate in, including the Champions League, is very important. Even if it were just a friendly match this evening, it would hold special significance for us following our recent loss to Nottingham Forest," Slot said in an interview with TNT Sports.
