River Plate Captain's House Survives Fire

River Plate goalkeeper and team captain Franco Armani was forced to spend the night in a hotel after being rapidly evacuated from his home due to a massive fire in its vicinity.
While Armani's house was not damaged by the fire, all residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure. The fire, however, completely destroyed several shops in a nearby market.
Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. For reference, River Plate is currently ranked sixth in the Argentine Championship standings.
