Hoffenheim Defeats Augsburg in the First Half

The result of the German Bundesliga’s 12th-round match between Hoffenheim and Augsburg was decided in the first half. The hosts managed to score three unanswered goals in the opening 45 minutes.

Bazoumana Toure and Wouter Burger scored for Hoffenheim, while Cedric Zesiger conceded an own goal. The score remained unchanged until the end of the match, finishing at 3-0.

Demonstrating good form, Hoffenheim climbed to fourth place in the league standings, trailing second-placed RB Leipzig by just three points.

Augsburg, meanwhile, remains in 13th position.
