Xabi Alonso's Primary Transfer Target Revealed

Real Madrid is reportedly targeting Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. The "Royal Club" head coach, Xabi Alonso, has identified the English footballer as a primary transfer target.

This information comes via Transfer News Live, citing journalist Latigo Serrano. The Spanish coach is encouraging the club to make an attempt to sign the 21-year-old midfielder during the January transfer window.

Adam Wharton is also drawing interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea. Transfermarkt experts have estimated the player’s value at €60 million.

Wharton’s contract with Crystal Palace is valid until mid-2029.
