Alonso: Football Players Are Humans, Not Robots

Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has commented on the situation involving Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. According to reports, the Uruguayan footballer has been facing mental health challenges following his red card in the Champions League match against Chelsea (0-3).
As a result, Araujo requested time from the club management for mental recovery. "First of all, we must respect the emotions and needs of football players.
They are not robots but human beings. They face high demands and carry significant responsibilities," said Alonso, as quoted by AS.
In the current season, Araujo has played in 15 matches across all competitions and scored 2 goals.
