Candela: Napoli and Inter Among the Favorites

Vincent Candela, former footballer of Italy’s “Roma” club, shared his thoughts on the championship race in Serie A. According to him, Milan’s “Inter” team and the defending champions “Napoli” stand out as the main favorites.

“Did “Roma” lose to “Napoli”? That was expected because “Napoli” and “Inter” are the strongest teams in Italy.

I have no doubt that one of them will become the champions,” Candela stated in an interview with fcinter1908.it.

It’s worth noting that Milan’s “Inter” won the Serie A title in 2024, while “Napoli” claimed the championship in 2023 and again in 2025.
