Mainz Parts Ways with Head Coach Bo Henriksen

The German football club Mainz has officially announced parting ways with head coach Bo Henriksen. The 50-year-old specialist had been managing the club since 2024.

Bo Henriksen was named the best coach of the Bundesliga last season. He led his team to sixth place, securing a spot in European competitions.

However, Mainz's performance this season has been highly disappointing. The team is currently at the very bottom of the league table in 18th place, with only 6 points.

After 12 matches, the team is three points behind its competitors in 15th place. Bo Henriksen previously had a coaching career with several clubs in Denmark and also managed Switzerland's FC Zurich.
