Serie A Confirms Venue for Milan vs Como Match
The 24th round of Italy's Serie A will see a match between Milan and Como taking place on February 8 in Perth, Australia. This information was confirmed by Serie A president Ezio Maria Simonelli.

According to him, the game will be held in Perth, as initially planned. Simonelli stated that the controversy surrounding the match stemmed from the host side’s request for the game to be officiated by a team of referees from Asia.

The Serie A head noted that he was initially reluctant to make such a decision. However, Pierluigi Collina, the chairman of FIFA's Referees Committee, clarified the situation by pointing out that there are highly qualified referees in the region. Earlier reports indicated opposition from clubs and fans to the idea of holding Serie A matches in various locations around the world.
