Hansi Flick declares readiness for clash with Jose Mourinho

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick said he would welcome a sensational rivalry with Jose Mourinho next season. The coach nicknamed "The Special One" is expected to replace Alvaro Arbeloa at Real Madrid, setting the stage for a new managerial duel in La Liga. This is reported by Goal.com .
Reports of the Portuguese specialist's return to the Santiago Bernabeu could revive the El Clasico atmosphere of the early 2010s. When asked about the prospect of facing the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, Flick replied calmly: "Yes, why not? He is an opposing coach, and I am always ready to face any opponent."
The Barcelona boss made these comments after the final La Liga match against Valencia (1:3). Despite the defeat, Flick emphasized that the result does not overshadow the work done throughout the season, as the Catalans had already secured the title early.
"This defeat does not affect our season, which ended with a championship title. Valencia's victory was deserved because they had higher motivation. We made simple mistakes after the 0:1 scoreline, and the opponent took advantage of them," the German coach added.
Flick also acknowledged that the upcoming World Cup might have affected the players' performance. According to him, many players have already started thinking about the international tournament, which may have caused the mental lapses in the final round.
