Bukayo Saka hits back at critics: Arsenal are champions now

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has fired back at critics who doubted his team's mentality and labeled them "bottlers." Following their long-awaited Premier League title win, the England international noted that all the critics are now "going into hiding." This is reported by Goal.com .
Arsenal secured the title early on Tuesday evening after Manchester City drew with Bournemouth. The victory sparked massive celebrations in North London. In an interview with TNT Sports, Saka addressed the negativity directed at Mikel Arteta's side over the last three seasons.
"We know what everyone said about us and what the doubts were. We did it, and now it's time to enjoy it. People have started hiding, but we will find them," said the 24-year-old winger. According to him, whenever Arsenal dropped points, it was discussed much more intensely than with other clubs.
Saka stated that the team has shed the "bottlers" and "weak" labels that stuck to them after previous failures. He believes the team has now earned the right to answer their critics. The player noted that despite injury struggles this season, team unity brought the victory.
"The last few years have been physically very tough for me, and it affected my game. But I didn't lose faith. This year was a test not just for me, but for the whole team and staff, but we stayed together and ultimately achieved our goal," added Bukayo Saka.
