Conor Gallagher opens up about his difficult days at Tottenham and the managers

Tottenham midfielder Conor Gallagher has spoken openly about the immense psychological challenges he faced after his January move from Atletico Madrid. The England international lost his form during a period of turbulent managerial changes at the club and became a target for disgruntled fans. This is reported by Goal.com .
The former Chelsea player, who arrived at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for £35 million, initially played under Thomas Frank, but the Danish coach was quickly dismissed. His successor, Igor Tudor, severely limited the midfielder's playing time. This situation negatively affected Gallagher's physical condition and self-confidence.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the player described his mental state during that period: "I couldn't talk to anyone in the last few months. It was a very difficult time for me and the team. The previous manager didn't believe in me, and the fans thought I wasn't good enough. But I didn't give up mentally and tried to show the fans what I am capable of."
The current manager, De Zerbi, has completely changed Gallagher's fate. The Italian tactician has placed full trust in him, starting him in every match. With James Maddison and Xavi Simons injured, Gallagher has become the team's leader in the attacking 'number 10' role.
Having recently scored the winning goal against Aston Villa, Conor Gallagher is heading into the summer break in high spirits, despite not being included in the England squad for the World Cup. He promised to further strengthen his bond with the fans and contribute more to the team in the future.
