AMD is preparing a more affordable Ryzen 7 7700X3D processor

AMD is preparing to introduce a new gaming processor for the AM5 platform — the Ryzen 7 7700X3D model. This new CPU will enter the market as a more affordable option featuring a large cache memory. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new processor features 8 cores and 16 threads, equipped with 96 MB of L3 cache. Its maximum clock frequency is expected to be around 4.5 GHz, which means performance will be approximately 5 percent lower compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D model. The processor's power consumption will remain at the 120 W level.
The main advantage will be the pricing policy. It is estimated that the price of the Ryzen 7 7700X3D will be between 300 and 350 dollars. For comparison, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D model is currently sold in the US for 396 dollars.
This model will allow AMD to expand its gamer audience. Although it may lag behind Intel Core Ultra 7 (Arrow Lake) processors in multi-threaded tasks, it will demonstrate competitive performance in gaming due to its large cache memory.
