Trump Mobile customer personal data leaked

Reports have emerged that Trump Mobile, a mobile carrier and smartphone manufacturer named after the US President, left customer personal data, including mailing addresses and email addresses, exposed. This was reported by well-known YouTubers Coffeezilla and penguinz0, who ordered the gold-colored T1 smartphone. According to them, researchers discovered an unsecured database on the internet. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports.
Coffeezilla, known for exposing cryptocurrency scams, confirmed that he also became a victim of this leak. He stated that almost all personal information, except for credit card numbers, remained exposed. The YouTubers said they bought the device out of curiosity rather than political support, but now their privacy is at risk.
According to reports, researchers tried to contact Trump Mobile representatives, but there was no response from the company. Therefore, the security flaw may still be unresolved. The YouTubers did not explain in detail how hackers accessed this data, but noted that the process was very easy and the data is still available on the internet.
Based on unique identifiers in the leaked data, Coffeezilla estimates that only 30,000 people have purchased the phone so far. This is significantly lower than expected, as there were estimates of 590,000 pre-orders last year. The Trump Mobile project was initially announced as a smartphone manufactured entirely in the USA.
However, investigations by publications like NBC News and The Verge revealed that the device is now only described in marketing materials as "designed based on American values." It was also noted that the phone's design is very similar to a two-year-old HTC model, which may imply that the device is simply a rebranded version. Trump Mobile has not yet provided an official comment on this situation.
