Anker Solix S2000: Lightweight and Affordable 2 kW Charging Station

The Anker Solix brand has expanded its backup power lineup with the new Anker Solix S2000 portable power station. The new device is positioned as a bridge between compact travel batteries and massive home uninterruptible power systems. Engineers managed to pack twice the capacity—2010 Wh—into the chassis of a typical 1 kW model. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The device's main advantage is its reduced size and weight. Measuring 20 × 28 × 32 cm, the station weighs only 16.2 kg. With these specs, it is 2.7 kg lighter than the previous C2000 Gen 2 model and nearly twice as compact as predecessors like the Anker F2000. Additionally, the Solix S2000 consumes a record-low amount of energy in standby mode—less than 6 W.
The station is built on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. The manufacturer claims that the device retains 60% of its capacity even after 10,000 charge cycles, which is equivalent to about 15 years of regular use. The output power is 1.5 kW (3 kW peak). The device can be charged from the grid at 1.6 kW and via solar panels at 400 W.
The Anker Solix S2000 is equipped with five AC outlets, a 100W USB-C (Power Delivery) port, a 15W USB-C port, and one USB-A port. To ensure compactness, the 12V car cigarette lighter socket has been removed. Official sales are scheduled for June 2, 2026, and it can be purchased for $600 during the pre-order phase in the US.
