Uzbekistan imports 82,490 air conditioners in four months

From January to April 2025, Uzbekistan imported 82,490 air conditioners, totaling $27.2 million, according to upl.uz.

Breakdown by exporting country:

• China — 77,892 units
• Kazakhstan — 2,201 units
• Turkey — 1,399 units
• Korea — 265 units
• Italy — 247 units
• Others — 486 units

These figures reflect a surge in AC demand ahead of the summer season and increased preparedness in Uzbekistan.
