The semi-final stage of the Asian Senior Boxing Championship, which took place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, continues. The Uzbek boxing team has achieved great results and is determining new finalists.
Nigina Uktamova, who fought against an opponent in the -57 kg weight category, lost to India's Jasmin with a score of 2:3, according to the judges' decision, and thus won the bronze medal.
In the -75 kg weight category, Javakhir Abdurakhimov, having fought a brilliant fight against India's Akash, won with a score of 4:1 and advanced to the final. His speed and strategy in the fight caused great interest.
In the -85 kg weight category, Jasurbek Yuldashev also fought hard against Lokesh from India. Yuldashev completely outclassed his opponent and won 5:0 and advanced to the finals.
The second fight of the day will start at 14:00, and three of our boxers will also enter the ring there. According to the information provided by the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, each of these boxers is expected to once again prove themselves in the ring.
