The most affordable ladder-frame Tank SUV becomes a hit in Russia

Great Wall Motor has announced that its ladder-frame Tank 300 SUV has achieved a significant milestone in the Russian market. Since February 2023, sales of this model have exceeded 35,000 units. The jubilee vehicle was produced in the "City Drive" version in "White Olkhon" color, with a price of 4.8 million rubles for the 2026 model year. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.

According to statistics, the most popular trim among buyers is the "City Premium," accounting for 40 percent of total sales. By region, Moscow and the Moscow region lead (25.7 percent), followed by the Volga and Northwestern federal districts.

The most chosen color for the Tank 300 is "Black Bogdo," preferred by over 12,000 buyers. Other available colors include "White Olkhon," "Gray Shantar," "Charsky Orange," and "Red Elton."

Technically, the vehicle is equipped with a 218 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV features a 224 mm ground clearance, can wade through water up to 700 mm deep, and has a towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg.

Models intended for the Russian market are equipped with enhanced anti-corrosion protection and a full winter package, which includes heated seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles.
