Billionaires gain $304 billion in a day after Trump tariff freeze

The world’s richest individuals, listed in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, saw a collective increase of $304 billion in just one day following news that U.S. President Donald Trump would temporarily suspend tariffs, reports Kursiv Media.
Elon Musk, a known Trump ally, gained $36 billion. Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, who also backed Trump, added $26 billion to his fortune. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang rounded out the top three with a $15.5 billion increase.
Trump paused tariffs on most U.S. trade partners for three months, while increasing duties on Chinese goods.
