Unusual clouds spotted over Krasnodar

Residents of Kopanskaya village in Russia’s Krasnodar region filmed unusual hanging clouds, reported pogoda.mail.ru.
These clouds are known as mammatus clouds — pouch-like formations that appear beneath thunderstorm clouds and indicate turbulence in the atmosphere.
Experts say the phenomenon is not dangerous, but it often signals unstable weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, or even tornadoes.
