Earthquake strikes Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan border

On June 19, an earthquake occurred on the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan border, nova24.uz reported. The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Seismological Monitoring Center confirmed the information.
The tremor was recorded at 18:02 local time. The epicenter registered a magnitude of 2.9 and an intensity of 3 points.
In Uzbekistan, the tremor was felt as follows:
• Uchqo‘rg‘on district — 2 points (18 km from the epicenter)
• Distance to Tashkent — 245 km southeast
