Fuel crisis in Asia: unrest and violence escalating

The global consequences of the tension in the Middle East are now causing serious problems in Asian countries as well. According to The Washington Post, fuel supply disruptions are being observed as a result of US and Israeli actions against Iran.
As a result, fuel shortages are intensifying in a number of Asian countries, and the social situation is worsening. In some areas, cases of panic, looting, and even violence have been recorded.
In particular, in Bangladesh, illegal groups are stealing fuel reserves and looting vehicles. This further exacerbated anxiety and instability among the population.
In India and Pakistan, attacks were carried out by dissatisfied residents due to fuel shortages. There is information that in some cases, employees of gas stations died.
At the same time, thousands of drivers in the Philippines have started strikes against the sharp increase in diesel prices. This creates additional problems in the transport system.
According to experts, if the instability in the global energy market continues, such situations may increase. At the same time, international cooperation and prompt measures are required to stabilize the situation.
