Revenue of cafes and restaurants in Uzbekistan has increased

In January–March 2026, the turnover of catering enterprises in Uzbekistan recorded significant growth. According to the Statistics Agency, the total revenue of cafes and restaurants during this period amounted to 49.8 trillion soums.

It is noted that this figure is 8.2 percent higher compared to the same period in 2025. This indicates that the catering sector in the country is developing steadily.

According to official data, as of April 1, 2026, there are 27,312 commercial enterprises operating in the catering network across the republic. The majority of them are located in urban areas.

Experts believe that the growth in the sector is driven by the gradual increase in household incomes, the development of service culture, and the rise in the number of catering outlets.
