Share of countries in the world economy: 1961-2025 (as a percentage, video)

In 1961-2025, the share of the world economy showed significant changes. This was reported by the Gorizont Telegram channel.

In the 1960s, the USA accounted for about 40% of the world\'s GDP (Gross Domestic Product). At that time, China\'s share was around 4%. By the 1980s, the US\'s share had fallen to 25%, while China\'s remained around 2%.

In the 1990s, the Japanese economy developed, accounting for 10-15%. In the 2000s, China significantly increased its share with economic development, reaching 16-17% of global GDP by 2025. The USA maintains its leading position with a stable share of 26%. The shares of Germany and Japan are currently around 4-5% and 5-6%, respectively. Other countries still play a large role in the overall share.

This clearly shows that the world economy is in a process of global redistribution. The rapid growth of China and the steady leadership of the United States determine the balance of economic power in the eleventh century.
