Decline observed in wheat and cement trading on the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange

Between May 11 and 17, 44,575 transactions were executed across all trading platforms of the "Uzbekistan Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange". This is a 6.3% decrease compared to the previous week.

According to exchange data, 44.4% of transactions were concluded in exchange trading, and 55.6% in e-commerce systems. During this period, budget and corporate clients saved nearly 137.1 billion UZS through electronic public procurement auctions.

In the reporting week, 440,905 tons of cement were put up for sale, with 145,997 tons sold. The average daily price per ton of cement fell from 649,700 UZS to 644,000 UZS.

Additionally, 31,881 tons of wheat were sold through the exchange. The average daily price per ton of wheat decreased from 2,972,200 UZS to 2,932,400 UZS.
